What’s With Casey’s Name?

You all know the beloved HOT Team robot Casey, but do you know the reason behind it’s name? Well, Casey’s name is actually an acronym, standing for Community Awareness of Science and Engineering Year-round. This robot was created to be a symbol of HOT Robotics, because it was used to entertain children or adults with its many uses.

It turns out that this is only one of four Casey Models, and one of the previous models had the face of Ms. Gleason carved out of metal! Also, the current Casey has the ability to blow up balloons!
