HOT Success at Back to Back off Season Competitions

At the Kettering Kick-off, The Heroes of Tomorrow ranked 6th overall, with 10 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie. They were selected by the #1 seeded team, Wings of Fire, Team 51. They joined forces with 8426, the Automated Amphibians to complete their alliance.

The first finals match ended in a tie at 178 points. The second finals match found the HOT team victorious with the HOT Team scoring 141, securing a victory over the red Alliances 130.  The final round of Competition took a toll on the robot, resulting in damage to the intake that required repairs. Despite the challenges, The HOT team scored 169 points resulting in a victory for the Heroes of Tomorrow and their alliance partners!

The HOT Team competed at Ferris State University against 20 other teams this past Saturday. They won all fifteen of their games, winning first place in the finals.
In the elimination rounds, HOT Team 67 was captain of an alliance with The Megatron Oracles 314 and Central Lake Trobotics 5560.

In the final round, after winning the first match in a best of 3, the team’s robot sustained damage to their intake that would require a replacement of two parts. Despite only having 8 minutes, HOT Team 67 was efficient and effective in their pit skills and successfully repaired the robot where it would go on to win the tournament in the next match!
